Maybe you're seeing a message saying "This board has too many cards..." and wonder why we do that? Let's find the answer here.

When opening a board with many cards, you may face a notification telling you that Klaro has limited the number of cards shown or that you should use the filters:

Those notifications appear when Klaro knows that your board will become unpleasantly too slow if all cards are downloaded and displayed.

Think about it!

Those notifications also inform you about the inefficiency of using very large boards. Our brain is unable to process 1000 cards showing 5 dimensions each. That's 5000 pieces of information!

You can of course temporarily dismiss the notification, yet think about the actual way of fixing the problem:

  1. Use the filters to limit the scope of your work.
  2. Use the Card appearance section of the Board settings to show only relevant dimensions for your current objective.
  3. Save your view as a new board!

The right information at the right time: better focus, better technical performance, better user experience.
