What is the Presenter mode ?

Our presenter mode is made of two sub features:

  • The board refresh method: disabled, on-demand or real-time.
  • The possibility to go full screen by hiding all toolbars: just press the 'p' keyboard shortcut while in a board.

The new sections explain a few use cases of the presenter mode.

Animate workshops

By going full-screen, you can easily animate workshops where presenting cards only (no toolbars, nothing) helps reaching a very strong team focus. Unlike many other digital tools, Klaro Cards' design is such that 95% of the screen is dedicated to your domain information. No distraction.

Colleagues may have their computer showing the same Klaro board as you present, or even another one (maybe showing the same cards but from a different point of view). By switching the board refresh method to "real-time" (on your display or theirs, or both), any change is automatically broadcasted and boards refreshed accordingly.

Pro Tip: know your keyboard shortcuts, e.g.

  • f (toggle filters panel)
  • b (open board settings)
  • p toggle presenter mode

Static display

Another use case is to have a static display always showing the status of a team's progress in real time (e.g. displaying the progress of the current sprint in an software development agile setting). Go full-screen, turn refresh method to real-time and you're done.

Pro Tip: by adding ?_presenterMode=true to your board URL, Klaro turns this full-screen+real-time settings for you automatically.
